Orithine alpha ketoglutarate
Ornithine alpha-Ketoglutarate, also known as OKG, can improve the balance of muscle protein. This can help maintain muscle mass and strength, thus ameliorating the conditions of muscle weakness. OKG is made from alpha-ketoglutaric acid (a naturally occurring compound in food and our bodies), and ornithine (an amino acid). It is more effective than either alpha-ketoglutaric acid or Ornithine alone for restoring Glutamine pools in muscle. Moreover, OKG can stimulate the production of our bodies natural tissue and muscle supporting compounds like IGF-1 and Arginine.
